Bharti Foundation
Supported by an initial endowment fund of Rs. 200 crores by the promoters of Bharti Enterprises and Associates, the Bharti Foundation has set itself the goals of improving the quality of primary education for disadvantaged children and to ensure education and training opportunities for youth to help them achieve their potential.
The Foundation is poised to to set up around 1000 primary schools in the rural Punjab, MP, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The schools target regions where the reach of government schools is low. The land will be contributed by the village panchayat, the other costs like those of infrastructure, facilities and people will be borne by the foundation.n
